The Derm-Al Beauty offers different kinds of peeling: mechanic with corundum crystals (microdermabrasion), physical - with a CO2 fractional laser or nitrous oxide or chemical - with the right kind of chemical substance.
The procedure is recommended in the case of: dark spots (hormonal - melasma, post-inflammatory, e.g. after acne, or sun-induced, freckles), acne comedonica, acne papulosa, sebaceous skin, scars (e.g. acne scars), actinic kreatosis, follicular kreatosis, skin dryness, loss of skin firmness or wrinkles.
Peeling may be gentle, to remove only dead epidermal cells, or stronger, exfoliating also the upper layer of the dermis. By removing the surface layer, fresh, healthier skin is exposed and reconstruction of deeper cells is initiated. This has a significant effect on the appearance of the skin, makes it lighter, smoother and firmer, and keeps it young for a longer time.
In the case of teenagers, exfoliation opens up pores and controls excess sebum production, and in young adults, it smoothes wrinkles and promotes even skin. For persons aged 30+, peeling improves and promotes even skin tone, reduces first wrinkles and delays the ageing process. As the skin matures, exfoliation stimulates cell regeneration.
Chemical peeling
It is controlled exfoliation with properly selected chemical solution. The effect is reduction of pathological changes and their consequences, triggering cell regeneration and, last but not least, improving the quality and appearance of the skin.
How does the treatment work:
The physician selects the right chemical preparation and its concentration, depending on the patient’s problem. First, the physician prepares the area to be exfoliated (face, neck, décolleté or hands) with a proper degreasing agent. Then, he or she applies the selected chemical solution, which is left for some time and then cleansed with neutraliser or water. The time, depending on peeling, ranges from 2 minutes to several hours. In the latter case, the patient is instructed how to remove the preparation at home. Finally, soothing cream is applied. During the treatment, the skin usually itches and immediately after it reddens. Exfoliation begins 2-3 days after the treatment. Its intensity and duration depend on the preparation used, but it usually takes 3 to 7 days. Peeling may be repeated 1 to 4 weeks apart, until the desired effect is achieved. After the treatment, it is necessary to use sunscreen in order to avoid sun discolouration.

ENERPEEL® MA - mandelic acid 40%, medical product for sensitive skin, usually well tolerated, anti-bacterial, gentle exfoliation, very superficial, may be used in summer. Recommendations: acne rosacea in the erythematous stage, dark spots, general improvement of skin’s appearance.
ENERPEEL® PA - pyruvic acid 50%, medical product, high exfoliating effectiveness at reduced irritation, three levels of exfoliation: epidermis, hair follicles and dermis. Recommendations: seborrhea, acne comedonica, post-acne scars, dilated pores, moderate dark spots, sagging skin, wrinkles
ENERPEEL® SA - salicylic acid 30% with triethyl citrate and ethyl linoleate, medical product, superficial exfoliation, modifies the micro-environment of the sebaceous hair follicle. Recommendations: acne comedonica, acne papulosa, acne pustulosa, mild to moderate.
ENERPEEL® TCA - trichloroacetic acid 25%, medical product, one of the strongest acids, intensive exfoliation, purpose: removal of epidermis down to dermis, stimulating cell regeneration. Recommendation: oily, sebaceous skin changed by acne, post-acne medium-depth scars, dark spots (melasma, moderate lentigo), advanced photoageing, moderate actinic kreatosis, sagging skin, wrinkes.
Retix C Xylogic – retinol 4%, vitamin C 8%, antioxidants 30%. Rethinol is pure vitamin A, used in skin regeneration; in its stabilised form, it penetrates deeper into the skin and has a prolonged therapeutic effect. Left-handed vitamin C has strong antioxidant and brightening activity. Antioxidants rejuvenate and protect the skin. Intensive exfoliation. Recommendations: rejuvenating therapy, reduction of dark spots, smoothing, improving skin tension, increasing hydration.
